1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) constitutes a legally binding document governing the manner in which 8dx.io (“8dx,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, processes, stores, discloses, and safeguards information in connection with the use of its decentralized exchange aggregation interface (the “Services”). The Services are operated by Planet 9 Group Corporation, a corporate entity duly organized and validly existing under the laws of the United States of America (EIN: 61–2113548), with its principal place of business at 17 State Street, Suite 4000, New York, NY 10004. It is explicitly acknowledged that 8dx operates exclusively as a non-custodial decentralized finance (“DeFi”) interface. We do not assume fiduciary duties, do not custody or control digital assets, and do not provide fiat on-ramp or off-ramp services. All transactions occur directly on public blockchain networks via independent third-party decentralized exchanges (“DEXs”) through verifiably deployed smart contracts. By accessing or using the Services, you affirm that you have reviewed, understood, and accepted this Policy. If you do not consent to its terms, you must immediately cease all use of the Services.2. Definitions
For the purposes of interpretative clarity:- “Wallet Address” means a unique public blockchain identifier voluntarily provided by the user to enable interaction with the Services.
- “On-chain Data” refers to transactional or related data permanently recorded on decentralized, distributed ledgers that are immutable, publicly accessible, and beyond the control of 8dx.
- “Third-Party Tools” means auxiliary software components or connectivity frameworks, including but not limited to Coinbase Wallet SDK and Wagmi, used solely for technical integration and authentication.
3. Principle of Data Minimization
8dx adheres strictly to the principles of necessity, proportionality, and purpose limitation recognized under applicable data protection regimes, including where relevant the GDPR and CCPA. We deliberately limit data collection to the minimum extent required for lawful operation of the Services. We do not solicit personally identifiable information, conduct behavioral profiling, or embed advertising or tracking technologies.4. Information Collected Directly
The only information directly collected and retained by 8dx is the user’s voluntarily connected public blockchain wallet address, used solely to enable interaction with decentralized exchange protocols. We do not collect names, physical addresses, government identifiers, financial account details, phone numbers, or email addresses, except where voluntarily provided for direct communication. Wallet addresses are not used for analytics, marketing, profiling, or commercial exploitation.5. Third-Party Tools and Cookies
To enable wallet connectivity and session continuity, the Services may integrate Third-Party Tools, including Coinbase Wallet SDK and Wagmi. Such tools may deploy cookies or local storage mechanisms strictly for functional or security purposes. 8dx does not access, monitor, or store information generated by such mechanisms, which remain governed by the privacy policies of the respective providers. Disabling essential cookies may impair or prevent use of the Services.6. Purposes of Data Storage and Use
Wallet addresses are processed exclusively for the following purposes:- Enabling execution of on-chain swaps via integrated smart contracts
- Maintaining operational continuity between user wallets and supported blockchains
- Implementing safeguards against unauthorized access or session hijacking
- Facilitating direct communication where voluntarily initiated by the user
7. Non-Custodial Nature of the Services
All transactions are initiated, authorized, and executed exclusively by users and settled on public, permissionless blockchains. 8dx does not intermediate, relay, custody, or interfere with transactions and has no technical or legal ability to alter, reverse, or censor on-chain activity. Users retain full control over their digital assets at all times.8. Data Retention
Wallet addresses are retained only for the duration strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes described herein or to comply with applicable legal obligations. No off-chain behavioral or transactional metadata is appended to wallet addresses. On-chain data cannot be altered or deleted by 8dx due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology. Users may request deletion of any off-chain records lawfully maintained by 8dx, such as voluntary communications referencing a wallet address.9. Data Disclosure
8dx does not sell, lease, or commercially disclose wallet addresses or related data. Disclosure may occur only where:- Required by applicable law or binding legal process
- Necessary to protect the rights, property, or security of 8dx, users, or the public
- Required for engagement of service providers operating under confidentiality and data protection obligations
10. Security Measures
We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the limited data under our control. However, due to the transparent and decentralized nature of public blockchains, 8dx cannot secure, alter, or remove on-chain records. Users are advised to employ industry-standard security practices.11. International Considerations and Legal Bases
Where applicable, data processing is based on one or more lawful grounds, including contractual necessity, legitimate interests in ensuring security and functionality, or compliance with legal obligations. Where cross-border data transfers occur, appropriate safeguards are implemented in accordance with applicable data protection laws.12. User Rights
Given the absence of traditional personal data collection, data subject rights may be inherently limited. Nevertheless, users may request confirmation of any off-chain records associated with their wallet address and request deletion where legally and technically feasible. Requests must be submitted in writing via the contact channels below.13. Amendments to the Policy
